Xiaomi Mi 5 real life images leaked along with its patent details

Xiaomi Mi 5 is the most talkative debate of 2015 and same will be repeated for 2016 as Mi 5 has still time to launch and the leaks are coming non-stop which also helps to ignite more fire powers to the rumours and adding to that more real loge images leaked of Mi 5.

The alleged Xiaomi Mi 5 patent documents have leaked and revealed the device’s design. The rather thin and odd-looking physical home button is here, and the company has built-in a fingerprint scanner into it, at least according to the available info. The Type-C USB port is located on the bottom of the phone, and dual speakers are placed on its left and right side. The device will be made out of metal, and it will sport a curved back it seems so.

There seems to be a lot of similarity between the Mi Note series and Mi 5 flagship. If we talk about fingerprint reader, a patent application for such a sensor has been also leaked which points the fingerprint scanner to be embedded in the display, which means that it is an ultrasonic scanner, similar to Qualcomm's version, while we are unable to confirm this at the moment.

Xiaomi Mi 5 will sport a 5.2-inch display along with 3/4GB of RAM and 32/64 of internal storage. The device will be powered by the Snapdragon 820 processor, and a 3,600mAh non-removable battery will be available on the inside. The 16-megapixel snapper will be placed on the back of this phone, and a 13-megapixel shooter will be available up front. Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 tech will be available here as well, and Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS will come pre-installed on this device along with Xiaomi’s MIUI 7 OS available on top of it.

It could be priced about Rs 24,000 ($363) Xiaomi recently has joined the hands with Dubai-based company called Task FZCO that will release a number of Xiaomi-branded devices in the Middle East and North Africa along with Saudi Arabia and the UAE will also get the devices at the beginning of next year. The company will probably sell Xiaomi’s devices both via online and offline (retail) channels in these regions.
