Xiaomi Mi 5 could powered by Helio X20 processor to be priced at $416

Yesterday Xiaomi fans have the most bizarre moment when they got to know Xiaomi is not keen to launch Redmi Note 2 in India. While today we hear some good news! from Xiaomi, Mi 5 performance chart has been leaked as a Antutu benchmark thanks to it we get to know more about Mi 5 closely.

Xiaomi Mi 5 managed to score 73,075 points on AnTuTu making it the king of chart another time as previously Redmi Note 2 achieved the 54000 Antutu mark. As expected it is said to be Snapdragon 820 but we belive scoring above 70K in Antutu benchmark is not a cup of tea for Snapdragon processor even though it feature four custom Kyro cores clocked at 3.0GHz.

While Another likely chip inside the Mighty Mi5 would be the Helio X20 with 10 cores Why ? because this is the same chip which managed to score above 70K on AnTuTu back in April and likely to see Redmi Note 2 sailing on Helio X10 chipset already this make sense & adding on that the Snapdragon 820 won’t be available until Q1 2016.

If this happen Helio X20 powering the Mi 5 then it will be another blow to Indian fans after the Redmi Note 2 as Mi 5 will not able to see the next day of its Life in India until the ban lifted from Xiaomi by the High Court for selling the Mediatek devices. Let us Remind you Ericsson has filed a patent infringement lawsuit against Xiaomi base upon MediaTek’s chipsets. That means no Mediatek device from Xiaomi

According to Report there will be two version of Mi 5, the first one will be a 5.2 inch Full HD, probably be powered by the Helio X20 SoC, backed by 3GB Ram and 16/64GB internal storage and a 16-megapixel rear-facing camera has also been mentioned in various rumor, including the latest one. The device is also said to sport a 3,030mAh battery, Type-C USB 3.0 port and a fingerprint scanner. Android 5.1.1 Lollipop will come pre-installed on the device with Xiaomi’s MIUI 7 installed on top of Google’s operating system. The pricing has been confirmed to be Rs 25000 ($416)

The other one Mi 5 Plus likely to feature 5.7 inch QHD (2560 x 1440) display along with 4GB of RAM and 16 or 64GB of internal storage. Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 64-bit SoC will be available only in Q1 2016. The 16-megapixel OIS camera with dual-LED flash. The 3,030mAh battery will be available on the inside, and a TYPE-C USB 3.0 port and a fingerprint scanner will also be a part of this package. Android 5.1.1 Lollipop will come pre-installed here with Xiaomi’s MIUI 7. It is said to priced at Rs 30,000 ($500). Mi 5 will likely to launch in October while Mi 5 Plus will launch in January.
